Get Real is South Africa’s leading platform for concerts and live music tours, established to redefine the live entertainment scene. We are seeking a dedicated Event Crew to join our internal operations. This role is ideal for a self-directed professional who thrives in a high-trust environment as a lead Administrator of event logistics. You will support our brand’s mission of creating cultural movements, acting as a lead coordinator for the world-class sound and spectacular visuals that define every Get Real production.
Daily Responsibilities:

Technical Setup: Assist with the assembly of stage structures, lighting rigs, and audio-visual gear under the direction of our production leads.

On-Site Logistics: Manage the movement of high-value equipment and artist backline assets between storage and the main stage.

Crowd Safety: Coordinate with security and medical teams to ensure a safe and seamless environment as a brand Representative.

VIP Support: Oversee the setup and maintenance of exclusive VIP and artist areas to ensure high-energy guest experiences.

Striking & Storage: Efficiently dismantle and pack away production gear post-event to maintain our high standards of equipment integrity.
Requirements:

Proven Stamina: Ability to handle a full-time, high-intensity workload in a fast-paced concert environment.

Technical Aptitude: Experience with event equipment or a strong desire to learn the technical side of live production.

Self-Direction: Discipline to manage your station independently during live shows without needing constant supervision.

Communication Skills: Ability to write professional and polite English for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Team Synergy: A collaborative mindset, working closely with technicians and designers to bring the Get Real “magic” to life.
